During your initial consulting appointment, your current dietary habits will be reviewed and discussed. Areas of weakness will be highlighted and together we will set realistic, healthy eating goals for a balanced diet. Using your weight, height, gender and activity level your daily caloric intake will be calculated to give you a clear idea of how much you should consume for optimal health.
If you wish to have further support to incorporate and adhere to these healthy eating guidelines you may opt to include a personalized meal plan (not otherwise included in your initial consult). Based on your food preferences and lifestyle we will design a satisfying, easy to follow meal plan.
During subsequent follow-up consulting appointments, your food diary and progress will be reviewed. Based on this information, adjustments may be made to your current meal plan (if applicable). You will then be provided with feedback and suggestions for further improvement. In addition to this, alternative meal and snack ideas will be given to keep things fresh. You will receive support and advice to help identify and overcome challenges, as well as, ongoing accountability to help keep you on track.
